Privacy Policy

PMDevLabs ("we", "our", or "us") operates the BFF Quiz mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App to create quizzes, challenge your best friends, and track scores on the leaderboard.
📋 Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Quiz Questions & Answers: The questions and answer options you create for your quiz
- Quiz Results: Scores and results from friends who take your quiz
- Leaderboard Data: Nicknames or names associated with quiz scores
- App Settings: Your in-app preferences and configurations
Important: All quiz data, questions, answers, and results are stored locally on your device only. We never upload, store, or have access to any personal content you create within the app.
Automatically Collected Information
The App collects limited information through Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising and regulatory compliance:
- Device advertising ID
- IP address
- Device type and operating system
- Consent preferences (GDPR / CCPA status)
💎 In-App Purchases
BFF Quiz offers optional in-app purchases (IAP) to unlock premium features. Here is how purchases are handled:
- All purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing — we never see or store your payment details
- Purchase history (e.g. whether you have unlocked premium) is managed by Google Play and stored locally on your device
- We do not collect, transmit, or store any financial or payment information
- Refunds are handled directly through Google Play per their refund policy
Note: In-app purchases are entirely optional. The core quiz experience is available without any purchase. Premium features are clearly labeled within the app.
🔐 Permissions
BFF Quiz requests the following permissions to enable its features:
- Internet & Network State: Required for displaying advertisements via AdMob
- Post Notifications: Used to notify you when a friend completes your quiz (optional)
No location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions are used.
🛡️ Consent Management (CMP)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, we use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK — a certified Consent Management Platform that allows you to:
- Provide or withhold consent for personalized advertisements
- Manage your preferences for data processing by Google and its partners
- Withdraw your consent at any time via in-app Privacy Settings
📢 Advertising (AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your data to:
- Show personalized ads (with your consent)
- Show non-personalized ads (if consent is declined)
- Measure ad performance and prevent fraud

BFF Quiz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 is using our app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
