Introduction

PMDevLabs ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Computer Browser mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App to browse the web, manage bookmarks, and access your favorite sites.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Browsing History: Websites you visit while using the App
• Bookmarks & Quick Access: Sites and shortcuts you save for quick access
• Search Engine Preference: Your chosen default search engine (e.g. Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Brave, Startpage)
• Browser Settings: Customization and preference settings within the App

Automatically Collected Information

The App collects limited information through Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising and regulatory compliance:

• Device advertising ID
• IP address
• Device type and operating system
• Consent preferences (GDPR/CCPA status)

Permissions

Computer Browser requests the following permissions to enable its core features:

• Internet & Network State: Required for browsing the web and displaying advertisements via AdMob
• Microphone (Optional): Used only if you choose to perform a voice search; audio is processed and discarded, and is never stored or transmitted by us

No location, camera, contacts, or storage permissions are used.

Third-Party Search Engines

Computer Browser allows you to choose from third-party search engines, including Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Brave, and Startpage. When you perform a search or visit a website, your query and browsing activity are subject to the privacy policy of that third-party site or search provider, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

In-App Purchases (Premium Features)

Computer Browser offers optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features (such as an ad-free experience or additional browser customization). All transactions are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not have access to your card details, Google account information, or any sensitive payment data.

• Payment and authentication are handled entirely by Google Play
• Purchase status is stored only on your device
• Used only to unlock the premium features you purchased
• No financial or personal information is collected by us
• You can restore purchases when reinstalling or switching device

Consent Management (CMP)

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, we use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK. This is a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) that allows you to:

• Provide or withhold consent for personalized advertisements
• Manage your preferences for data processing by Google and its partners
• Withdraw your consent at any time via the in-app settings

Advertising (AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your data to:

• Show personalized ads (with your consent)
• Show non-personalized ads (if consent is declined)
• Measure ad performance and prevent fraud

According to Google Play's Data Safety guidelines, we declare the following:

• ✔️ No login or account creation required
• ✔️ Browsing history and bookmarks are stored locally on your device
• ✔️ In-app purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing
• ✔️ AdMob may process device identifiers to show ads, but we do not access this data

Children's Privacy

Computer Browser is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child is using our app and providing information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when new features are added or requirements change. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
